This page explains what we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Foresight Security is the security department of SolutionsIT, a Manitoba company. We install and support cameras, alarms and door access for businesses, farms and municipalities in southern Manitoba.
What we collect through the forms
When you send us a note or a service request, we collect the details you type in: your name, company, town, email address, phone number if you give one, what you are looking at, and your message. We use these details to reply to you and to arrange a site walk or a service visit.
If you ask for the checklist, or for your quiz result by email, we collect your email address and, for the quiz, which of the four results you got. We use them to send what you asked for and to know what kind of property we are talking about if you call. If you send a question through the FAQ page, we collect the question and, if you give it, your email address, so we can answer it. The quiz itself works in your browser: your answers are not sent anywhere unless you choose to email your result.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they use them. It also uses HubSpot tools, which can place cookies so that a form you send is connected to your visit. These tools only work when they have been set up on the site. You can block cookies in your browser at any time. The site will still work.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your details. We share them only with the service providers that run this site and our forms, including HubSpot for contact records and Google for analytics. Those providers may process data in other countries, including the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and to manage any project you ask us about. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Send the request by phone or through the contact form.
